Indig is a privately owned, web-based streaming service devoted solely to supporting independent indigenous filmmakers from around the world. The idea for the company came from seeing the work of a multinational partnership among colleges and universities that enables young filmmakers in transnational production in Benin, France, Haiti and the United States. The beauty of the films and the passion of the filmmakers inspired us to launch Indig.

To remain independent, we don’t sell advertising. We don’t sell your data. And we don’t own or license the films. Our pay-per-view model distributes money directly to filmmakers so what you pay supports their new projects. Ultimately, you make it possible for us to bring new voices in cinema to the world.
